Head to our Soundcloud channel for our new Demo CD!
Last week, we recorded a few tracks at the Royal College of Music studios, which will eventually form a short demo CD of our Scottish Baroque programme, 'The Pheasant's Eye'. We're about to design the CD cover (all suggestions welcome!), but in the meantime, if you'd like to listen online, just head over to our Soundcloud channel. You'll find the link under 'Audio/Video' or just click on the Soundcloud icon on our Home page!
Also, in news, last Friday, we turned our West London living room into a little studio, and with our good friends and colleagues Magda Loth-Hill (Baroque Violin) and Florence Petit (Baroque Cello), recording a couple of raucous tunes to form the backing track for our upcoming crowdfunding video! Although Tom and I love performing as a duo, there is so much beautiful Scottish Baroque repertoire for larger ensembles, and so our next project, due to run throughout 2018 and 2019, will be a new 'Pheasant's Eye' programme with new repertoire, a potentially Arts Council England-funded tour (fingers crossed!) and eventually, we hope, a recording contract to capture all of this charming music for you all to enjoy!
Here are a couple of photos of our video recording - much fun was had by all!
